LONDON — The boom of the 2016 NFL season has been matched by the bust of the NFL season in the United States, according to a new analysis of major U.S. sports.
The Associated Press Sports Editors’ annual football ranking is based on the final standings of each game played in each sport from March 1 to October 31.
The 2017 edition of the AP Sports Editors”Boom” ranking has been set for Week 15 of the 2017 season, and it was announced Tuesday that the 2016 edition will be released next week.
The AP’s football rankings will be updated each season through 2020.
The 2016 AP Sports editors’ preseason ranking was released last week.
It has been followed by the 2017 edition, which will be the first to be released in 2019.
