Giants quarterback Eli Manning and his son, Eli, will have a baby in early January, according to the New York Daily News.
The family had been planning the new addition since the birth of their son, Jack, in September, and Manning told reporters in December that they planned to have a “real family” to call home.
Now that Manning is expecting his first child, Manning and daughter Taylor, he is eager to start celebrating.
“We’re all excited,” Manning said, via the Daily News, adding, “It’s gonna be a really exciting time for us.”
As we reported last year, the Giants will open the 2017 season on the road against the Steelers on Dec. 1.
Manning said the team is looking forward to being able to take a trip to Pittsburgh.
“I know that the Steelers are a pretty good football team,” Manning told the Daily New Yorker.
“I think it’s gonna make it even more special for us.
I’m gonna love it.”
The Giants and Steelers will square off at the Heinz Field in Pittsburgh in Week 3.
